Used to carry and store milk, these vessels are formed from single pieces of wood. Some have fanciful repairs made with small metal plates or brackets.
If the vessel is to be displayed in an upright position, a small ring (such as a section of cardboard tubing) may be necessary to stabilize the rounded bottom.
