BALI STYLE ELEPHANT MASK 7, Cameroon

This finely crafted mask, with brass and cloth adornments, shows no evidence of age or use and was probably made to be sold.

There is a wide crack on the top of the back that is now stable (see detail below). There is a cloth lining glued to the inside of the ears and small remnants of a cloth costume around the base. There is an overall greenish oxidation on the metal, but otherwise the mask is in good condition.
