TARUMBA, CURRENCY "SPEAR" 2, 65.5", $250, Dem. Rep. Congo
These iron shaped "weapons" and blades were recognized and used as currency for rare but major transactions. They are much too thin to have ever been intended as functional weapons and are not sharp. This #2 has a native splint to support a weak area in the blade.
