DAN MAOU Masks
The Dan Maou people live in the northwestern part of the Dan region. Their masks are distinguished by a long beak-like form at the chin or mouth. Masks like these were feared by the general population as they served a judiciary function in denouncing spell-casters.
These examples show no evidence of age or use and were probably made to be sold.
