This object has been vetted as being authentic with signs of significant use and age.

In addition to the numerous types of masks and figures used traditionally in Dogon/Tellem culturse, most of their functional objects and architectural pieces have artistic significance, showing the importance they played in Dogon/Tellem life. This wonderfully simple bowl form has a stable old crack and some wood loss in one upper corner and a reddish stain in the bowl.
