Eket figures, like the heads, are usually worn as crests of headdresses. Figures like these are danced in the annual Ogbom ceremony. Many of the figures, like this one, have strongly abstracted concave bodies.

This Eket figure shows no evidence of age or use and was probably made to be sold.
