These pots are among the rarest and most prized in African pottery. Nos. 1. 2, 5, 6, 8, 13, 15 & 16 have 4-sided openings cut almost invisibly into the top, which opens to reveal a small opening. The others have more loosely fitting lids. No. 7 lid does not match its vessel. 7 & 11 have surface damage (many missing points).
