This mask has been vetted as authentic, dating from the mid to late 20th Century.
This mask was vetted by Daniel Mato, author (with Charles Miller III) of Sande, masks and statues from Liberia and Sierra-Leone.
This mask is in excellent condition except for the small wood loss on one eyelid. There are eye holes both at the eyes and at the top of the neck (see detail below). The raffia collar is in good condition. The interior has been darkened.
