This is a reproduction of a Gbon Mask, danced at funerals to control and guide the soul of the deceased. This piece has a rough, uniform patina that adds to the resemblance to a nicely carved dragon head. The addition of three diagonal white marks on the face, horns, and tusks add contrast to the overall dark surface of the object.

I've chosen this piece because it's an inexpensive way to aquire a traditional form and because it reminds me of a dragon. ---Matt Mrachek
