This mask is probably authentic but shows no signs of age or use.
This large colorful mask was assembled from sevral pieces of wood, carved, them decorated with paint and fabric. Masks like this were sometimes displayed on boat prows as the Bozo fish on the Niger River. Due to its size, if shipped it would have to have the horns removed and reattached. The stand is included in the price.
