Ugonachonma display figure. Wholly secular figures like this,
in contrast to shrine figures, represented great beauty, were covered with
painted uli designs, and displayed in Mbari houses and at
secular dances
It is very difficult to establish authenticity on this type
of figure but we see no real evidence of tribal use so it was probably made to be sold.
