This mask has been vetted as authentic, dating from the first half of the 20th Century.
This mask was vetted by Daniel Mato, author (with Charles Miller III) of Sande, masks and statues from Liberia and Sierra-Leone.
This old mask has cracks (now stable) on both sides of the head, with some attempt at a native repair on the right side. The projection off the back at the top appears to be broken off. The interior has been darkened.
