This stool shows signs of age and use. One leg is eroded as are the bottoms of all four legs. The stool, of very hard wood, is still stable. There is a slight stain on the top surface.
These wonderfully simple sculptural forms are carved from a single block of wood by the Senufo people of Ivory Coast.
