Well Rope Support 1

This old hollowed out tree trunk was used as a well rope support., guiding
and smoothing the movement of the ropes hauling water. We are exploring
different ways to display it. In the vertical position it requires one thin
support post to be level.
This well cover/rope support been vetted as being authentic with significant signs of use and age.
