While originating from the African continent, the vest and set of pants are likely not created by the tribe who invented the design. The tribal attribution indicates the origin of the design, not the object.

VEST with PANTS 7
VEST: 43" high x 34" wide at top, 54" widest (as photographed), 75" wide fully extended flat.
PANTS: 37" high (long), 19" wide at waist, 27" wide at ankles as photographed.
This is much more of a tunic, full in form, with the matching pants (one size fits all) held by a drawstring. The embroidery and beadwork is on Yoruba Ashoke strip woven textiles.
