TUAREG
Forked Post 105
24.5" high x 4" wide x 1.5" deep
$100
SOLD

This post has been vetted as authentic.

This forked post has been "wired" with transparent fishline to hang on a wall. Although the wood is extremely hard, this tigettewin post has an eroded end. Because of that it would be difficult but not impossible to be mounted. There is a small stable crack at the top.

Forked tigettewin posts were used in various ways in each Tuareg family's tent, holding leather bags or supporting one end of a wooden rod which in turn held saddle and camel bags.
