LOBALA SWORD 101, DRC

Photographs © Hamill Gallery

LOBALA
Blade 101
21.5" high
$250
SOLD

This blade has not been vetted and could have been made to be sold..

They are often mislabeled as "executioner's swords", displayed ceremoniously to indicate the power of life and death held by the king. Highly prized, some could have been recognized and used as currency for barter, transactions and storage of wealth.
